Trying to Catch Up at Home

I feel so disorganized sometimes trying to coordinate home things, church responsibilites and sewing fun. I was called as Ward Music Chair and have to provide the music for Sunday Sacrament service. I had everything all lined up for special numbers and with Easter, General Conference, Stake Conference, and Mother's Day everything got switched back. Hopefully now we're on track. Several people have been delayed with their special numbers but they say they don't mind.
Plus, for the last month and a half, I have been involved with the Family History Classes during Sunday School. Finally now that they are about to end we've licked the techical problems with the wireless internet, the projector and getting all set up so everyone is not waiting on the lesson to start. What a learning experience this has been.
I'm getting caught up on my projects. Below I have digitized a dragonfly and water lilly using Mylar which is a pearlized type of wrapping paper but better than the wrapping paper found at the dollar store. I think I did a good job and the shiny paper comes through the embroidery. That was a good lesson on density.
Red Delicious is just about finished. I only have the border to quilt. Then I will show a picture of it finished. This has been going on for over a year as a Block of the Month project.
I also have 2 other projects going on at Sally's. They are block of the month also.
Next year will be different. I cut down this year and next year will cut down even more on the projects.
