Our Little Maggie Lou

Maggie had her surgery on December 31. She had hurt herself on Dad's bed by catching her foot between the mattress and the foot board. She was anxiously waiting for her special treat. Thank goodness her leg was not broken but she ended up with a torn cruciate ligament. Julie felt so badly for her little dog that she got sick when the accident happened. She couldn't even go to take Maggie for her surgery. She just stayed home and cried. Maggie is doing much better today. The sedation is wearing off. But you can really tell she doesn't feel good. It will take two months for her to get back to normal. She loves to jump. So right now she is restricted and under close watch. I feel so sorry for her.
